CHILDREN'S AMENITIES
The Les Petits Dodo Kid’s Club at Shanti Maurice hotel accommodates children from 4 to 12 years and is open daily from 10h00 to 22h00. Children under 3 years old are to be accompanied by an adult.
At the mini club, kids will find a toddlers pool and a games room with billiards, foosball and other pastime activities for the pleasure of the young ones on holiday in Mauritius. Indoor activities (visual arts) and external (non-motorized water sports, tennis, etc.) are also organised by the mini club staff.
A special yoga programme has been created for children combining simple postures and breathing exercises for their well-being. This program is not included in any packages.
A children’s mealtime menu is available featuring favourites such as chicken nuggets, spaghetti, and veggie burgers, as well as a Mauritian meal, for the more adventurous. These are served at Stars Restaurant or in the kid’s club.
Babysitting services are available for a supplementary fee.
Built at the heart of a tropical forest and surrounded by pools and basins of flowing water, the Shanti Spa extends over nearly 7000 m², the largest Spa in Mauritius and one of the largest in the Indian Ocean. It was recognized as the "Best Luxury Resort Spa" at the 2013 World Spa Awards!
At your disposal are 25 treatment rooms including 8 which are newly constructed, as well as 3 yoga and meditation sessions per day. The spa also offers a full range of body and beauty treatments, a hairdressing and beauty care salon, a boutique and a saltwater pool for specialised Watsu treatments.
Ayurveda treatment programmes, employed to cure stress and bodily tensions, can be designed to suit your individual needs, according to your particular dosha (body type). You may also be coached by the Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa yogi and guests are invited to attend morning sessions on the Yoga Sutras and to learn how they may be applied to their daily life.
